They are living Critters and their health & wellbeing is always our top priority.
We will always endeavour to bring along a variety of animal species.
Safari Phil's Birthday parties are designed to provide a fun, memorable, hands-on experience, whilst also teaching awesome facts along the way, ensuring there is something included for everyone!

Arachnids (tarantulas/scorpions) CANNOT be handled by those aged under 7 years old. Arachnids are also not available for our RED packages due to party size.
​
All other Critters can be handled by EVERYBODY (as long as they're brave enough!).
​
Start & Finish times for events are very strict, as we usually have multiple bookings each day. We recommend your guests arrive at least 15 minutes before we are due to start to ensure nobody misses out on the Critter fun! We suggest serving your food after the animal handling where possible, with time for the participants to wash their hands properly as well.

Jnr Green Package!

This is our Birthday package for younger children aged 5 & under,
with the animal visit lasting for up to 45 minutes.
​
Safari Phil will attend your party, with additional
members of his expert Critter Crew.
​
We'll bring along a variety of different exotic reptile species for your guests to meet, including snakes, tortoises, & lizards!
(Selection of species dependant upon Critters availability on the day)
​
The Birthday child will be Safari Phil's assistant, and star of the show. They'll also receive a Birthday card, badge, & certificate.
​
Please be aware that there is an added £20 fee per additional child should you exceed your package maximum number on the day (Do ensure your invited guests know this and don't bring along extra siblings).
​
Please get in touch for larger parties with over 12 guests!
Our JNR GREEN package is ideal for a family gathering in most homes, or a small to medium sized hired venue like a community centre.
​
All the Critters we bring along can be handled by younger guests.
​
12 participants is the STRICT MAXIMUM LIMIT, and you should base this on how many guests you are inviting plus your own child/children.
(For example, if you have 3 children, then you could only invite 9 guests, as the birthday star and their siblings will be included in the total number of participants.)
If this guest number is exceeded on the day, there will be a
£20 PER ADDITIONAL CHILD FEE.
(We recommend ensuring your guests are aware of this beforehand, as some parents will show up with additional siblings on the day, and you will be charged for them.)
Due to staff numbers being dictated by package size, you will be unable to change your chosen package from 2 weeks prior to the event. Please ensure your numbers are accurate at time of booking, as changes might not be possible for your chosen date.

Classic Birthday Parties!

£20 PER ADDITIONAL CHILD FEE.
(We recommend ensuring your guests are aware of this beforehand, as some parents will show up with additional siblings on the day, and you will be charged for them.)

Additional Information
​
It is required for all Birthday packages that parking close to the event is provided, with an unobstructed path
to the event site so that animals
can be safely transported.
​
Outdoor Events are only available
in spring and summer and are
booked weather permitting.
To avoid disappointment, whenever possible, have a secondary, indoor location available. Due to Safari Phil's Critters being exotic species, we reserve the right to not appear in extremely high winds, heavy rain or very low temperatures. This is for the health and
welfare of the animals.

Our different party packages have
strict maximum numbers of participants, this is to ensure that everyone at your party gets to handle all the animals. Your package cannot be changed on the day, as the packages dictate staffing numbers.
Should there be additional participants when Safari Phil arrives for the booking, either an additional charge of
£20 per guest
will be applied, or, should the numbers exceed our safety limits for the animals, then we reserve the right to not appear. You will still be charged in full for the event booked.
